Ramblings

I don't really have any news to report. I won't type long because I cut my finger so it's really hard to type. You know, it's one of those horrible, life-threatening paper cuts that hurt like the dickens. The boys seem to be on the mend. They are still snot factories, but not all day. Colvin still has his cough but he seems to be feeling better now. We were supposed to have their pictures taken today in really cute 1920's - 1930's themed sets and costumes. I cancelled mostly because I'm paranoid about the Swi*ne Fl*u, but also because I didn't want a bunch of expensive pictures that all show shiny upper lips. Ick. I did end up taking Nolan out for a few errands while Colvin was napping in hope that Mark would nap too. He's been working rediculous hours and then coming home and helping me with the boys. He's so good. Then he stays up half the night doing more work. He's working right now at 9:30 on a Saturday night. At least he can work from home. And this is just after his company layed 14 more people off, made the rest of them take a 5% pay-cut, and then had the cajones to ask the guys to work over the weekend. They wanted them to come into the office and work. Mark said no. Anyway, I think I said I didn't have much to say. Sometimes I just can't help myself once I start typing. I'm also procrastinating going upstairs and getting ready for bed. I'm dead tired so don't ask me why. How can I expect my boys not to fight sleep when I do the same thing? Well, I better wrap it up. Here are a few pictures that I snapped today. I hope you enjoy. :)

One of their new things is sitting on the couch. They both will lay back and do this funny little slouched look. I think they are immitating me. Note to self: spend less time on couch. They have also started immitating each other. If I lay Nolan on the floor so he can give himself his bottle, Colvin will lay down next to him. Another funny thing was when Nolan fell and bumped his head on the baseboard. My mom went over to console him. Colvin went right over to the same spot, bent over and tapped his head on the baseboard and let out a fake little cry so that he could get the extra attention too. Little stinker baby.

See, look at those cute little rolls that Nolan still has on his legs.

Colvin has also started licking the floor. Note to self: mop more often.
Nolan saw Colvin do it so then he did it too.

This is Colvin's latest trick. I find him standing like this all the time. It cracks me up so I was very happy that I was finally able to get a picture of it.
