It was a strange December to say the least. My dad went in for major back surgery on Dec 8th and didn't get release from the hospitals until Dec 24th. He had some complications that made his stay longer than expected. The boys both came down with colds on Christmas or the day before so things were pretty quiet around here. We let them open some gifts but they weren't quite in to the opening process yet this year. Next year I'm sure they will tear into them with gusto. We did have our pictures done at a portrai studio and those are the ones that follow now.

My parents gave us this great video camera for Christmas so we were doing more filming than picture taking on Christmas day. If any of the pictures turned out and when I figure out how to get them from that camera to the computer, I'll add them to the blog.
My mom was able to come over Christmas morning for a little while, but my dad had to stay home. We went by their house in the afternoon for a little while.
