October 2009 Pics

Nolan was so cute sitting on the couch with Daddy.

Me and my lil' punkins

Daddy, Nolan, Aunt Steph, Colvin, and Uncle Jeff at the pumpkin patch.

Nolan

Colvin

Colvin likes to hang out with this orange bowl on his head.

The boys like to take rides on our backs and stomachs when we are trying to do floor exercises.

I think Nolan is trying to do a pushup too.

Colvin says, "Come on, Dad, you can do 10 more pushups!"

Colvin getting a ride while Dad does pushups.

Nolan thought Mark's pushups needed to be a little tougher so he added 32 pounds or so.

Colvin in a Zebra costume that we took back and traded for an elephant.

Colvin and Nolan

Nolan - when I first put these costumes on the boys I laughed so hard I got hysterical and nearly peed my pants.

Sunday bike ride to the park. Colvin was doing a safety inspection.

Colvin and Nolan. Colvin was mostly interested in playing in the woodchips. It made me think how much he would have loved visiting the saw mill where my Uncle Dave Fiscus worked back in Indiana when I was a little kid. They lived out in the woods and I loved going to visit.

Peek-a-boo.

Colvin and Nolan LOVE to swing.

September pics

Colvin got some new gloves for a camping trip we were planning (didn't get to go since both boys ended up with colds) and he didn't want to take them off. I think he actually wore them until the next morning.

Game Day

Touchdown!

Those spots are a giant herd of elk around Mormon Lake. My parents watched the boys overnight so Mark and I could take a couple days off and drive up north.

Mormon Lake with the storm that we went through in the background.

Hail!

This was an incredible hail storm outside of Strawberry. The temp dropped to 42 degrees. It was awesome.

Soup please.

I found Nolan sitting in his old jumper one day. I guess he found a new way to play in it.

Colvin poking out his tummy and riding backwards.

This was from our trip. This is up near Flagstaff. I don't know why the pics are so scrambled. I need a blogging lesson.

Also on our trip. We drove down through Sedona and up Schnebly Hill on our way back up to Flagstaff.

I can't believe it's been a month since I've posted anything. I'm such a slacker. It's been really busy around here. The boys have had one fever or cold after another which has meant that they aren't sleeping well. It's been no fun around here. Now Mark has a cold too. I've managed to avoid the sickness so far. We also joined a gym so extra time is going towards workouts. Maybe one of these days we'll post some before and after pictures. :) Today was the first day that I finally felt like the boys were back to themselves. It was wonderful to have them back. Colvin is still having bad allergies, but the allergist has me giving him some extra medication. We'll see if it helps. I hate having to give him meds but he has been really miserable. His nose runs all the time and he is constantly scratching at his eyes and nose. His eyes are black and sunken in and all scratched up. Poor thing.
It's finally cooling off around here so we can get out for more walks with the boys. They love to go for rides in their wagon, although Colvin wanted a ride on my shoulders tonight. He rubbed his hands in my hair the whole time so it was really huge by the time we got home. Well, I think I'm going to log off for tonight so I can wake Mark up off the floor and get him to bed. I'll try to post some pictures in the next couple days. I hardly even took any this month. :(
