Let me just say a huge thank you to my parents for all their help with Nolan while we were at urg*ent care with Colvin and to my mom for spending the night with Colvin on Sunday night and for all the time they have spent here helping out the last two days. Thank God for two such amazing people.

These pictures of the boys were from Saturday. I dressed them
in their little Ben*gals outfits in honor of the draft. Well, not really. It was more of a coincidence, but it made their dad happy. :) Saturday found Nolan feeling better from the cold he came down with on Thursday night. Colvin, on the other hand, woke up with a runny nose. By the end of the day his breathing problems were getting a little scary. He has had ongoing problems with a cough and has been under a doctor's care. By Sunday he was really struggling to breathe and his cough was very persistent. Mark took him to ur*gent care. They gave him a breathing treatment and sent him home with a prescription for an oral steroid. As soon as we gave that to him he threw everything up. Well, not everything. Three or four more spagettios popped out of his nose from time to time. Sorry for the graphics. So we grab the boys and put them in the tub to clean everything up. Afterwards, Nolan pooped and peed on the floor and managed to step in it and get it all over himself. Back to the tub he went. Could the day get any better?! Please remind me not to ask those kind of questions. Colvin continued to get worse to the point that we took him to the emergency room. It was PACKED so we left. We came home and gave him 2 breathing treatments and called the on call nurse for the pediatric*ian. She told us to take him back to a different ur*gent care where we spent 6.5 hours getting more breathing treatments and having his oxygen monitored. Since we have been home and through Monday and Tuesday he has gradually been improving. I am hoping that as he gets over the cold symptoms he will make huge improvements with his breathing. They are treating him as if he has asthma so there are two medications that they want him to be on for the next year. The other two are temporary. The poor baby is getting pumped full of steroids. And on top of all this, he's cut 2 molars in the past week.
